Hello and Happy Friday! I hope everyone has had a great week.
Before I get to my Friday celebrations, I want to announce that I'm giving away three signed copies of Baby Moo's Great Escape on Goodreads, so if you're interested in getting a copy of the book visit here to enter to win. You can also enter through the widget on the side of the blog.
And now to the Celebrate the Small Things hop! This fun hop is hosted by Lexa Cain and co-hosted by L.G Keltner at Writing Off the Edge and Tonja Drecker at Kidbits. Visit Lexa's blog here to find out how join in the hop yourself and to see the list of participants.
I'm celebrating that I was invited to take part in the Columbus VegFest tomorrow in Columbus, Ohio. The wonderful ladies at Sunrise Sanctuary asked if I would like to participate in their booth and sell/sign copies of Baby Moo's Great Escape. I think it will be a fun day and I hope to sell lots of books!
I'm also celebrating that yesterday was the first day of autumn, my favorite time of the year! Unfortunately it's still ridiculously hot here and I'm grumpy as can be about that, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the cool air will arrive soon. I can't wait for sweater weather.
Happy weekend, all!

Woot for VegFest! I hope it's a success! It's definitely sweater weather where I live. I considered wearing fuzzy pants beneath my skirt this morning.

ReplyDeleteThe heat broke today in Buffalo. It went from 83 yesterday down in the 50's today.
LOL! Yes, it's supposed to be Fall, but it's still hot and I'm as grumpy as can be about that, too! Yay for the giveway! I hope you get a lot of entries and new "Want to Read" clicks. Have a great time at the veggie-fest and I hope you sell lots of books!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie - have a lovely time with your Baby Moo books - I'm sure you'll sell lots of them ... it is such a lovely story. Veggie-fest ... sounds good - enjoy - cheers Hilary

ReplyDeleteHow nice that you were invited to sell Baby Moo...hope you'll get rid of a lot of them. I'm excited about Fall too. Now, if only the temperatures would head in that direction. We reached the 90s again this week, which is a real bummer.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the booth. Hope you make lots of sales. One of my favorite books for my kids was purchased at a farmer's market, so you never know.
ReplyDeleteThanks, all! I did have a great time at the event - it was lots of fun. Thanks so much for your comments. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, you have good things to celebrate this week Julie. Everyone will love Baby Moo and you'll be nice and comfy in the cooler weather.

Yay for book giveaways! I love fall, but I haven't really seen one for eight years. Guess it's time to plan a seasonal vacation, eh?
