It's the first Celebrate the Small Things hop of 2017! Happy Friday, everyone!
Even though this was a short work week because of the New Year's holiday, it somehow felt like the longest week in history. It's so hard to get back to normal after the holidays.
So I'm celebrating that it's the weekend, plus a few other things.
1. I finished writing my sequel to Baby Moo's Great Escape. I still have tons of revising and editing to do but at least I got the story down. I'm excited to be moving closer to getting Baby Moo and his friends back out into the world again for another adventure.
2. I also got my new All In For Animals site up and running and I'm really excited about it! Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by there after reading about it on this blog.
3. We got a little snow yesterday for the first time this winter. It wasn't enough to cause any problems, but it was more than enough to make my dog very happy. Clancy LOVES snow and he is ecstatic every year when the first snow comes around. He gets so excited when we go outside it's adorable. Seeing my dog so happy makes me happy, so I'm celebrating a happy pup!
The only time he wasn't happy was when I pestered him for a picture. :D |
The Celebrate the Small Things hop is hosted by Lexa Cain and co-hosted by L.G Keltner at Writing Off the Edge and Tonja Drecker at Kidbits. Visit Lexa's blog here to find out how join in the hop yourself and to see the list of participants.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead. :)
Hi Julie - well done on getting your sequel up and ready for the next stay - Baby Moo has done so well. Good luck too with your new blog and then have fun with Clancy and the snow ... Happy New Year and cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteJulie, congrats on getting the sequel and site done! Amazing accomplishments!! It looks like y'all got more snow than us. Last night, we got a light dusting. We may get more before the system ends tomorrow morning but I'm sure it won't stay around too long. BTW, you'll now find my CTST contributions now on Thursdays, here, and of course, if you want to some more laughs you can check out Friday Sillies. Have a blessed, happy new year, my friend!
ReplyDeleteAwesome news on the sequel and site.
ReplyDeleteHoping I'll be as happy as Clancy this weekend.
Yeh for the sequel!
ReplyDeleteAnd so happy to see Clancy out and about, enjoying himself. :)
Good job on the sequel. I'm not sure Artoo's ever seen snow, at least, not enough of it to notice. Poor Clancy having to pose for a photo when he wants to play!
ReplyDeleteHey Clancy! All the best with the Baby Moo sequel Julie. Congrats on your animal website launch as well and enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to you and Baby Moo for your new book. Clancy does look very happy in the snow!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new book. That panda rocks!

Yay for finishing your sequel and for a happy pup! :) Hope you're getting back into the groove. It's tough doing so.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous. Where's our snow? It's January and I'm seeing green grass everywhere. For being so far north (Rochester, NY) this is just wrong.
ReplyDeleteI think snow is so pretty, not the best to drive in, but i enjoy it and I do not do any winter sports. Loving your doggie and congrats on Baby Moo and your new site! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing your sequel, and good luck on the edits! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYay to finishing book two!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet that your dog is enjoying the snow. Ours doesn't know what to think of it.
I could use some snow about now. I've had it with rain! Love that you're starting a new blog about animal welfare. I wish you all the best with your efforts.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing that sequel! I'm in revisionland right now and while we do have snow I am NOT enjoying it. I am counting down the days til spring: 72 days.
ReplyDeleteHey Julie,
ReplyDeleteHearty congrats on the completion of your sequel, my kind friend. Dogs make wonderful snow ploughs, or snow "plows". Penny says hi to Clancy! :)
We are expecting some snow for the first time this winter, later on this week.
All the best.
Gary
Congrats on finishing the draft of your new book! That's awesome! Congrats again for your new animal site. New blogs take a while to take off, so be patient. My blog took over a year to gain followers. Clancy's adorable!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy week. I love the snow too and we've had lots this year. :-)

Woot on more Baby Moo! We have plenty of snow we're willing to share. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how exciting about the Baby Moo sequel! Congrats on wrapping up the first draft of it!
ReplyDeleteAnd aw, Clancy is beyond precious... <3
Congratulations on the website and writing book 2!
ReplyDeleteWell, it's Friday again, so happy Friday! :)
ReplyDeleteAw, Clancy looks so cute. I'm off to see your site.
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of your dog. They're like children when it comes to the snow. :)
ReplyDeleteWoot on getting your sequel done! One of my dogs loves prancing through the snow. My older female dog, on the other hand, looks out the door, woofs once, then walks back inside. :)
ReplyDeleteHahaha, the panda picture made me giggle off the bat. =-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your big accomplishments. I hope 2017 brings great things.

Great to hear that you're getting the next installment out! I bet Clancy was too excited to want to stop for a picture.

Busy, happy times. I hope the rest of January has been as awesome as the beginning.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome about the sequel to Baby Moo! We discovered our dog Clementine loves the snow. She's a silly puppy. :)
ReplyDeleteThis week feels even longer than the week of the 6th. Maybe it has something to do with calling the senators and representative every day. Congrats on your animal site.

Aww Clancy! So cute! :D
