WWW Wednesday is hosted each week by MizB at Should Be Reading.
To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions…
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
Wish: The Awakening by Laura Eno
I received a review copy of Laura's book through the Knights of the Round Table group on Goodreads. I've just started it but have no doubt I will love it.
What did you recently finish reading?
The Renaissance of Hetty Locklear by M. Pax
Locked Within by Paul Anthony Shortt
Both of these books get five stars from me! I know both have sequels in the works and that's great news as far as I'm concerned.
What do you think you'll read next?
I've heard so many great things about this book, I can't wait to read it!
Thanks as always to MizB for hosting this fun fest!
This post is it for me until after Christmas, so I want to say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all! To help get in the Christmas spirit, I'm sharing this video from my all-time favorite Christmas show, A Charlie Brown Christmas. These dancers never fail to make me smile!
Some great looking books on that list - I must read more, every's so busy at the moment!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, have a lovely time.
I don't even need to watch the video - just seeing the still put the music - and the joy! - in my head. :)
ReplyDelete@Annalisa, thank you!
ReplyDelete@Madeline, I feel the same, I love just seeing the pic. :)
Gosh, thank you so much, Julie! I certainly hope you enjoy it! I love having so many writer friends. Problem is, getting around to all their books! Especially since I edit for a living. But I do have Laura & Mary's books on my TBR list. I haven't heard of that third one so ill have to check it out. Thanks for both sharing & for the wonderful shout-out!!
ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteI love that you're reading so many fellow authors' books. You're always so supportive.

Merry Christmas and happy reading! :D

I'm glad you liked Hetty :D
ReplyDeleteI enjoy all of Laura's books, I'll have to get Wish. It's on my list. I also look forward to starting Nancy's.
I just finished Libby Heily's Tough Girl, which is amazing. I read JL Campbell's Don't Get Mad Get Even recently, too. I have to get her novel. I enjoy her. And I've just started Michael Offutt's Slipstream. Which is really good so far.
What a great list! I'm reading The Chronology of Water right now for my bookclub and loving it!
ReplyDelete@Nancy, you're welcome, and I'm sure I will enjoy The Mistaken. I know what you mean about getting around to all the books, I still have tons on my list!
ReplyDelete@Susan, it's fun to be able to read books written by people I know, I love it. And I think you will like Annalisa's story, I thought it was excellent.
@Ash, thanks, you too! :)
@Mary, I'm definitely looking forward to the next Hetty. I'll have to check out those you mentioned, I've read one of JL's before and know she is really good.
@Johanna, oh, I've heard good things about that! Another one for my list LOL.
I just completed Gone Girl with very mixed feelings. The book was amazing but the ending sucked (for me, anyway). Nancy's book is on my to-read soon list too!
ReplyDeleteRead it! Read it! Awesome book.
ReplyDelete@Julie, I agree completely about Gone Girl. The ending ruined the book for me.
ReplyDelete@Alex, I'm sure I will agree! :)
Thank you so much for mentioning Wish!
ReplyDeleteFinding the time to read...I need more time!
