The brilliant Lexa Cain suggested that she and I host a blog hop together to celebrate our book releases in December. My The Ghosts of Aquinnah will be released on Thursday, December 5 and Lexa's Soul Cutter will be released the next day on Friday, December 6. Lexa came up with the idea and the art work and I am thrilled to be able to hop on board and host with her.
So here are the details on our hop:

And speaking of celebrations, for this week's Celebrate the Small Things hop I'm celebrating the blog hop! I am super-excited about hosting a hop for the first time. But I also have a few other things:
1) I won books in giveaways hosted by E.J. Wesley and Yolanda Renee. So fun! I won a paperback copy of the Death by Drive-In Anthology from E.J.'s Coffin Hop and an ebook copy of Sunrise by Kody Boye from a giveaway on Yolanda's site. Very cool surprises to get in my email. :)
2) I am so grateful for all the encouraging and wonderful comments left on my IWSG blog post this week. If I didn't already know how lucky I was to be part of such a kind and supportive group of people that would definitely have convinced me. Thanks to all!
3) It's Friday and the weekend is here. Enough said!
Happy weekend, all. :)
Already signed up!
ReplyDeleteI got a lot of really great IWSG comments as well. Such an awesome bunch of writers.
What a great idea, Julie and Lexa!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I'll be on hiatus then, but I'll schedule an announcement for the 5th. Good luck with the fest. :)

ReplyDeleteYay! I love free books! Can't wait for the bloghop!
ReplyDeleteI want to jump in, but I just realized I might be in my dream destination during the hop--without an internet connection. The hubby want to take me on a last minute cruise. Woot, woot!
ReplyDeleteHere I told myself "no more blogfests until 2014" and then . . . you have to make one that I can't resist! I even have an idea for it.
ReplyDeleteSo I'm signing up.
Plus, I think it's a great way to celebrate your book release.
Please count a e-copy of Champion in the Darkness as one of your giveaway prizes!
Oh, and wonderful celebrations! :)

Hi Julie .. what great fun - to be thinking of a holiday venue in the sun ... I'll be popping on by to see everyone's entries ...
ReplyDeleteI'm away myself that weekend with my goddaughter looking at the new Birmingham library .. which will be very very interesting .. and good to see said child!!!

@Julie, thanks!
ReplyDelete@Hilary, oh, sounds like you will have a great time. Enjoy! Thanks so much for your good luck wishes.
I'm trying to hide more than hop through the end of the year. I probably should go to some deserted place with no internet, but I don't know if I could stand that.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the blog hop.

ReplyDeleteI love the idea, but I'm not sure I feel up to participate right now. All the best with both the blog hop and your book. Lexa's too, of course.
ReplyDeleteQuestion - would we be limited to the real world and present time?
ReplyDeleteCan I post early? I don't plan on posting 5-8. I will be posting the 4th and the 9th. And I'd like to sign up.
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy to donate a book. Let me know. :)
Other writers can be so awesome. The support I got for what happened to me this week was awesome.
Sounds like fun! Okay, so I'll be an optimist ("Why of COURSE, I'll be all ready for Christmas by then...") and sign up for it. Good luck! I hope your first bloghop is a rousing success.
