Congratulations again to Alex!

And now for my F post: F is for Fail

Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. FAIL again. FAIL better. ~ Samuel Beckett

I like that this quote gives a new perspective on failing, something I have plenty of experience with. :D

I'm also at Untethered Realms today with F is for Flames. Visit me there for a teaser from Polar Day.

And don't worry, I didn't forget about Mini-Alex and the scavenger hunt. I was saving the best for last.

Thanks for coming by, Mini-Alex!

  6. Wow Julie. That book cover is fantastic! And that was a wonderful quote by Beckett.

It looks like Mini-Alex is hanging out in a chair of some sort. I'm going to go with computer chair, with car being my second guess.

Yay for Dragon of the Stars release day!!!!

  7. My first thought was the center of a car's steering wheel for mini-Alex, but that's probably wrong.

  8. It's not how many time you fail, but how many times you get up! I'm a spectacular failure, Julie! LOL! Mini-Alex: carseat for a kid or a bucket seat in a car?

  9. Mini Alex is obvious getting ready to be buckled into a space ship seat. :)

  10. It's a big day for Alex! How can we grow if we don't fail on occasion

  11. Fail better. You can't beat that.
Mini-Alex looks like he's a gaming chair or a very odd bowl.

  12. I'm thinking Mini Alex is either in a leather office chair or about to play a video game

  13. I had never heard that quote before, but I really like it!

And Mini-Alex is definitely taking a drive . . . which is dangerous while reading.

  14. Love that quote! I think Mini-Alex is on a computer chair?? Maybe?

  15. Hi Julie! I've never heard that quote, but I like it. It'll remind me never to give up. :) I'll make sure to check more of your A-Z posts this month. It's my first year so I'm a little slow.

As for Mini-Alex, I can't really tell. I'll go for either a computer chair or child car seat?

    Have a great day. Eva

  16. "Fail better" is such a wonderful quote that we can all learn from! I'll have to share that one with my kids. Mini-Alex looks like he's driving over to a book signing for Dragon of the Stars! Yay for Alex!

  17. Oops...on second thought the background looks like he's on an office chair instead. I'd make a terrible detective.

  23. Hi Julie - Alex is definitely still going around .. I haven't visited everyone yet .. Mini-Alex is on a chair of sorts I think!

Definitely have to fail to be able to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves and start all over again - having re-evaluated what's going on ... cheers Hilary

  25. Love that quote! I'm pretty good at failing, and I hope I'm getting better at it :)

Mini Alex seems to have moved up to the VIP room at that bar at the edge of the galaxy he's been hanging out in.

  26. Great quote! Even if we fail, at least we're trying.
I'm guessing Mini-Alex is either in a child's car seat or an office chair of some kind. Whatever it is, it looks comfortable.

  27. Mini-Alex is keeping the captain's chair warm for Mini-Kirk who is away on a distant planet in Cassa Star.

  28. I think mini-Alex is going for a drive.
I tend to fail at things regularly, especially when I try something for the first time. Have a great week.
