Too many of us give up too soon. Edison had a lot of faults as a person (I visited his home in Ft Myers, once, and it was fascinating to learn about Edison the person) but he was one of the most persistent people of his times, I suspect. His persistence really was the secret of his success more so than his talent. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

I need to get this quote tattooed inside my brain or something. Quitting is something I always feel tempted to do, especially lately, LOL.
ReplyDeleteGreat quote! I think that's all we can do...just try.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie - yes try, try and try again ... and thank goodness so many people have kept on going .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteTry, try, and try again. :)
ReplyDeleteAn excellent incentive. thank you :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is so true. No one is a failure if they tried only if they never begun
ReplyDeleteOne of the best examples of trying is a baby standing on its feet and taking the first step.
