X is for eXperience


We're close to the end of the A to Z Challenge and I admit that I didn't have the energy to look for a photo to go with this post so I'm thankful to the AtoZ team for providing the letter badges for us to use. I also know I'm cheating with my X word but I couldn't find any way around it.

I've spent lots of time beating myself up over regrets in my life. There's no question I'd love to have some do-overs, but in recent years I've tried to focus on the fact that without my experiences, good and bad, I wouldn't be who I am now in the place I am today. 

But I still regret taking out so many student loans. ;)

    I do the same thing with regrets, especially those student loans... which I am STILL paying off.

    Hi Julie - if we hadn't done what we've done .. exactly we wouldn't be here and be as we are ... so we take the rough with the smooth and keep living our own life ..

    X is not an easy character .. I've achieved two Xs ... and created 3 - in the five challenges I've done. No point in berating myself ...

    Yes. Our experiences do shape us. I have a couple closets full of facepalm moments. And 4 thousand left on my college loans.

    experience serves its purpose, as long as we learn from it. sounds like you must have learned a lot based on student loan $$$. Oh well. Good X post
