Happy last day of the 2015 Challenge! Thanks to everyone who came by here throughout the month and thanks as well to the A to Z hosts and their minions for all the work they do to make the challenge a success.
"If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud." ~ Emile ZOLA
I spent most of my adult life trying to be as silent and as invisible as possible. While I'm still far from an extrovert, I've taken steps toward living out loud in recent years. Life is definitely better when you're not trying to disappear.
And that's my last quote!
I'm also at Untethered Realms today to finish up our group A to Z. Visit me there for another teaser from Polar Day.
Thanks again to everyone who made this year's challenge another success. Well done, all!

I bet you feel a bit of a burden lifted off your shoulders with this last post for the Challenge. Good for you for making it through. I'm glad you're living life out loud. So much fun that way :)
ReplyDeleteI'm living quietly out loud.
ReplyDeleteWe did it!
Congrats on finishing the challenge. I didn't play this year but I remember how glad I was when it was over!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quote! And I'm with you on living at least a little "louder" than before. :)
ReplyDeleteYeh on finishing A-Z!
Hi Julie - yes it's better being alive and living life ... I like that Zola quote ... I'm off to see you over at Untethered Realms ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI love that quote - a great one to finish with. I'm off to live out loud right now :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making it to the end of the month!

Live out loud is a great motto. I wasn't like that as a kid or teen. And I'm an introvert, so doing that as an adult is hard, but I can live out loud in my writing and with my words. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it to Z!
Congrats on finishing the Challenge! I really enjoyed all of your quotes :)
ReplyDeleteexcellent quote and you've lived out loud in April with words. Fun blog and happy A to Z finish
ReplyDeleteThat IS a great quote. I'm a Zola fan, but didn't realize that quote was his. (I came across the phrase Living Out Loud as a title for a book by Anna Quindlen.) Congratulations for making it all the way through to Z.
ReplyDeleteI never knew he said that. Have even more respect. I think I'm a bit too quiet and can learn from this. Congrats on finishing!
ReplyDeleteHere's to Zola and to living out loud! Great job this year, Julie.
ReplyDeleteI was a mouse when at school but I was a lion at home-hahahaaa-poor parents. Now I like to be ...me and that means I am not quiet (mostly). Congrats on the A to Z-Whew! We are done:)
ReplyDeleteI don't live out loud much. Now and then, but love your quotes and all you've accomplished.
ReplyDeleteAwesome quote with which to finish the challenge. Well done. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteLive out loud with respectful demeanour.
Well done of completing the alphabet thingy ma jig :)

Yes, let's live out loud!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting...you just described my entire childhood. I spent my adulthood learning to express myself. Glad you found your way!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing the a-z!!!
What an uplifting end to the Challenge. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you saved the last quote for a brilliant one of your own. It was fun going through A to Z with you again! Thanks Julie!
ReplyDeleteExcellent quote. It's something I've learned to do most of the time after a long period of being repressed as a child.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making it to Z and posting on two blogs during that time. That's hard work, I know.

Congrats on reaching the A to Z finishing line, Julie!
ReplyDeleteThis was my 5th challenge, but this time round I didn’t get to visit as many blogs as I’d have liked to.
April was SUPER-HECTIC for me...
Live out loud - I'll 'live out loud' in my own quiet way...
See you next year for another month of “alphabet madness”!
