Z is for Zola

Happy last day of the 2015 Challenge! Thanks to everyone who came by here throughout the month and thanks as well to the A to Z hosts and their minions for all the work they do to make the challenge a success.

"If you ask me what I came into this life to do, I will tell you: I came to live out loud." ~ Emile ZOLA

I spent most of my adult life trying to be as silent and as invisible as possible. While I'm still far from an extrovert, I've taken steps toward living out loud in recent years. Life is definitely better when you're not trying to disappear.

And that's my last quote!

I'm also at Untethered Realms today to finish up our group A to Z. Visit me there for another teaser from Polar Day.

Thanks again to everyone who made this year's challenge another success. Well done, all!

  7. Live out loud is a great motto. I wasn't like that as a kid or teen. And I'm an introvert, so doing that as an adult is hard, but I can live out loud in my writing and with my words. :)

Congratulations on making it to Z!

  10. That IS a great quote. I'm a Zola fan, but didn't realize that quote was his. (I came across the phrase Living Out Loud as a title for a book by Anna Quindlen.) Congratulations for making it all the way through to Z.

  11. I never knew he said that. Have even more respect. I think I'm a bit too quiet and can learn from this. Congrats on finishing!

  20. Excellent quote. It's something I've learned to do most of the time after a long period of being repressed as a child.

Congratulations on making it to Z and posting on two blogs during that time. That's hard work, I know.

  21. Congrats on reaching the A to Z finishing line, Julie!
This was my 5th challenge, but this time round I didn’t get to visit as many blogs as I’d have liked to.
    April was SUPER-HECTIC for me...
Live out loud - I'll 'live out loud' in my own quiet way...
See you next year for another month of “alphabet madness”!

  22. Hello there.
Congratulations on surviving the A-Z Challenge! I didn't get to visit your blog during the crazy month of April so I'm popping over today from the Road Trip. My goal is to visit all the blogs that linked up, before next year's challenge starts up again.
